Job Responsibilities:
An interpreter's responsibility is to convey another individual's thoughts and intentions quickly and accurately into a target language. The interpreter must be culturally competent and determine how the message is intended to be received while retaining the integrity of the conversation. Interpreters should also possess the following traits:
Requirements:
· Native Fluency in English and Spanish
· Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills to accurately convey messaging
· Experience using medical terminology
· Promptly submit timekeeping and administrative tasks
· Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the designated regions
· Possess a valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance
· Available to work and have flexibility during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
· Must successfully pass the screening assessment, applicable background, and drug screenings, in addition to verification of work authorization.
· Possess, or be willing to obtain medical clearances; TB, MMR, Varicella proof of immunity, and up to date on vaccinations.
