Dump Truck / Skid Steer Operator


Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary


We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard / Dump Truck / Skid Steer Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized and safe yard, operating a skid steer and dump truck, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with general yard and material-handling duties.


The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, comfortable operating heavy equipment, and willing to perform a variety of physical tasks throughout the workday.


Key Responsibilities


Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently.
Operate a dump truck to transport and move materials.
Load, unload, move, and organize materials around the yard.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
Perform general yard maintenance and other physical labor as needed.
Communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors.
Properly secure materials and equipment when required.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications


Previous experience operating a skid steer and dump truck preferred.
Experience working in a yard, construction, landscaping, aggregate, or similar environment is a plus.
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Must be safety-conscious and able to follow directions.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
