A warm Upper East Side family is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 5 and 3. They are looking for a proactive, experienced professional who is passionate about child development and creating engaging, meaningful daily experiences. This is a long-term role for a hands‑on nanny who enjoys imaginative play, educational activities, and helping children build confidence, independence, and strong social‑emotional skills. Schedule Monday–Friday 11 AM – 7 PM Guaranteed 45-50 hours per week Compensation $35–$40 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care for two young children Plan age‑appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and development Lead imaginative play (dress‑up, music, dance, arts & crafts, games) Support confidence, independence, and social‑emotional growth Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed Handle children’s laundry and spot‑treat clothing as needed Keep children’s areas tidy and assist with light child‑related housekeeping Act as a trusted partner to mom by staying organized, proactive, and anticipating needs Remain fully engaged and present throughout the day Ideal Candidate Extensive experience caring for multiple young children in private homes Strong understanding of early childhood development Confident leading structured, engaging activities and play Warm, energetic, and playful while maintaining consistency and boundaries Proactive, organized, and able to take initiative independently Excellent communication and collaborative mindset Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Comfortable working alongside parents and household staff A background in musical theater, dance, gymnastics, or a related performing arts discipline is a huge plus and highly valued Additional Details Family spends July and August in the Hamptons; nanny will work there during this time No additional travel required Weekends are generally off, maintaining a consistent weekday schedule This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny seeking a long-term role with a family that values education, creativity, and a strong caregiver partnership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
