We are currently looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Contract Mail Carrier in the beautiful area of Coldwater, Kansas. This is a Monday through Saturday position, six hours a day and 119 miles round trip. This isn't just about moving mail from one point to another; it's about being the person the community relies on. Responsibilities
Manage daily delivery routes with precision, ensuring mail and parcels reach their destinations on time.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety and readiness for the day ahead.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and provide clear communication regarding status updates.
Handle all items with care, treating every package as if it were your own.
Adapt quickly to changes in route density or unexpected weather conditions common in the Kansas region.
Represent Screaming Eagle Delivery with a friendly, reliable presence as you interact with our local community members.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle suitable for navigating various road conditions.
Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail to ensure timely deliveries.
Comfort working independently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Experience with GPS navigation and basic route optimization software.
Vehicle with at least 120 cubic inches of cargo space, van SUV or truck with a bed cover /Topper
